MiddleGate has recently been selected to join Plug and Play Cleveland Innovation Platform in partnership with Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals.

Plug and Play has accelerated hundreds of companies, not only investing in these companies, but also connecting them to their extensive network. Roshan Fernando, CEO of MiddleGate, said the following in regards to the selection: "We are very excited to be offered such an opportunity to work with the Plug and Play Cleveland in partnership with Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. The people at Plug and Play Cleveland have been great to work with and have set up a great opportunity for emerging companies like ours to be exposed to leading Healthcare institutions like these."

Being selected by Plug and Play enrolls MiddleGate into their 12-week program that kicked-off on September 25th, and will culminate with EXPO day on December 13th. The programs goal is to give early stage companies the opportunity to work with venture capitalist and to give these companies exposure to potential large corporate clients.

MiddleGate was 1 of 20 companies chosen, from over 100 applications, to present their company’s product and/or services to members of Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and affiliated corporate partners of Plug and Play Cleveland.

Of the 20 companies granted the opportunity, MiddleGate was 1 of 12 companies selected to join the health-focused Innovation Platform. Companies could be selected to work in sessions with Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, or both health systems. MiddleGate was fortunate to be selected by both Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals to explore a potential pilot of Grace.
